Well, it came.
What a disappointment! First, its nude. I thought it looked white in the pic online!

right?
How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways:
1. Your fabric feels cheap and doesn't look too great either.
2. Your shape is less than flattering.
3. You just plain let me down.
Ah, well... back to the drawing board. I still have a month to find an inexpensive dress to trash - I have faith something will fall into my lap!

You know you may find something neat in amongst the halloween costumes that are out now.
Dude, I would sorta kinda feel bad for you if I hadn't ordered no less that THREE separate J. Crew dresses that all turned out to be crushing disappointments.
OK, I still feel bad for ya. That sux. The search continues, o valiant one!
Did you try looking at sites like target.com or Forver 21? You might be able to find something there that fits your budget.
Are you returning it? Can you still maybe use it as one of your "trash the dress" dresses? In black and whites, it'd still come out white... ?
@Blablover: That's a good idea, I'll check it out!
@Ellie: Huzzah!
@budgetbeautiful: I checked - nothing yet, but good advice!
@Amyjean: it just isn't flattering enough to justify keeping... especially if I'm going to have to spend more on another dress. Oh well!
I actually like the photo but you say the fabric's cheap--I believe you. Lovely picture though
i also like the way it looks in your picture! kind of 20's flapper vintagey in the cream. you have to like it though... good luck!
I have a wedding dress that is brand new that I don't mind selling to you if you would like it for trash the dress. It was too big for me (it's a street size 6) and I since then found another dress that I liked and my size too. If you are interested, please email me at jadeydragon@yahoo.com and I can send you pictures of the dress. Thanks!
