It's been a dream of mine since I discovered the 'bee last October, and had been counting the months until I'd be eligible to apply... and I can hardly believe that I am now Miss Meatball!
It may seem odd for a vegetarian to choose a meaty moniker, but I happen to love soy meatballs. And describing myself as a meatball just feels right. Food related, naturally, but unpretentious. Plus, Mr. Meatball is my new favorite pet name for Hunter. It bounces off the lips so nicely!
Anyway, I'll still be here... broke-ass as ever. But stop by the hive now and then to taste the honey. Those other bees have lots of sweetness to share too!

I really wish you would reconsider your decision to continue blogging on Weddingbee in light of the fact that it has been sold to eHarmony. I rarely comment on your site but I read it regularly and I think you have a lot of great ideas but I will probably stop coming here if you continue to blog there.
Can you at least post explaing your choice to continue blogging there?
