I'm a cheater.

(source)

Don't get me wrong: I absolutely LOVE the wedding we're planning. The Magic Carpet Ride theme, the colors, the venue, the "essence" are all just perfect for us.

But, I still can't help my thoughts from drifting.... I can't help it.... I (gasp) fantasize about other wedding choices!

I know, its probably really common. But doesn't it make you feel just a little guilty sometimes? Here's the current object of my fantasy wedding-lust.
(via snippet & ink)

Isn't that just delicious? I wish everything in my life could be infused with those colors, that energy. Its divine. Fresh, juicy, playful, sweet....and simple. Wouldn't it make just a lovely wedding?

But, its just not for this wedding. Y'know?

I'm just going to have to start planning frequent theme parties to satisfy my urge for other designs, I guess! Not too shabby of an idea :)

What wedding styles tempt you away from your one true love?

i think the wedding style that tempts me is a wine country/rustic theme. But, I am committed to my current theme of DDLM

i'm not getting married, but that snippet and ink post has been one of my all time favourites... (yes, I've even bookmarked it)

which is why i'm glad i'm not planning a wedding atm, because i dunno how i would decide between that and my other all time fav:

I think it's totally normal to be tempted by totally different styles!! It's so hard to choose things sometimes.
Even though I loved my dress, I saw some really really gorgeous (and $$$) ones on the day I went in to pick it up (2 days before the wedding!!) and I dreamed a little. They had some fantastic pleated chiffon on the hemlines.

But I'm with you - I love your idea of throwing parties to get it all out of your system!

@Beaninca: what's DDLM?

@Amber: Oooh, that's gorgeous!

@I do!: Me too! MaPo (my BF) is doing that and I'm ever so jealous.

@NC Wedding Photojournalist: No, but I love that you asked! I'll check out the link, thanks!
