Oh. Ma. Ga. Our Save-the-Dates magically resurfaced, and, thanks to the kindness of strangers, are soon going to finally make their way home!!!
I was getting ready for a job interview when I got an email that someone had RSVP'd to our wedding through our wedding website. Strange, I thought, because only my parents are aware of its existence, and my dad wouldn't be RSVPing at this moment, right? I quickly logged in and checked it, to find this message:
"I know this is odd, but somehow, my company, Paper Source, Inc, received your save the date wedding invitations. I tried calling the number on the Fedex label on the box, but just got a recording. If one of you could call me, I would appreciate it. I am certain you are wondering where these are. Betsy Campbell, PS National Invitation Manager"
That was the BEST email I've received in ages! Evidentally, the box was delivered to a random address in Los Angeles, to the attention of The Paper Source (which makes NO sense at all). The man who received it then shipped over to the Paper Source Corporate office (back in Chicago), and the lovely angel known as Betsy opened it, saw our STD listed our website, and completely made my day!
Thank you, Blackberry email service. Thank you more, strange man in LA. Thank you most, Betsy Campbell. You are truly an angel from above.
Tomorrow, they'll be shipped back to me - and god save anyone who gets in their way this time! Cuz, seriously, I will CUT anyone who tries to mess with them again.
Happy, Happy Anniversary to us!

This story is insane. How did it end up at Paper Source, of all places in the world? Maybe they STOLE it and are trying to draw more brides in to their store with their "Kind deeds"
Or maybe they are just really kind?
That is such a bizarre story! Thank goodness they've been found, what a relief!
