In a slump

I just did 7 push-ups in my living room. Its a miracle.

I heard from Jen who heard from Kate who heard from Dana (whew!), about 100 push ups.

100 push ups is a challenge that aims to train anyone to do 100 consecutive push ups after 6 weeks.

You should know I'm not the most physically ambitious people out there. I exercise in fits and spurts, and always enjoy yoga, but haven't really stuck to any type of fitness plan since grad school 6 years ago. I'm 30 years old, and I want to do 100 push ups. To prove that I can. To better my health. To improve my posture. And yes, to rock it out in my wedding dress 9 months from now.

So, I did the initial test just now, to determine my baseline, and was amazed to eek out 7 decent good-form push ups....8 if you count that last pathetic spaghetti one!

We'll see how it goes. I'm going to try and remember to measure my arms or take pictures or something to chart the progress. I'll keep ya posted!

So...... who's with me?
