Trash-the-Dress sessions usually involve either beach or urban/industrial landscapes... They can be:

Sexy!

And then there's THIS gem - tidbits of a breathtaking Japanese wedding with hints of dress trashing in the shower and on the beach:

Ooooooh, StillMotion - you are a bewitching temptress!
Of course, I could never hang with using my ACTUAL dress - after my blood, sweat and tears are going into paying it off. But, I'd be completely down with buying a cheapie, off-the-rack or, even better, vintage dress to trash in the name of art. And self-fulfillment. Or is it narcissism? Let's just call it art, shall we?
Seriously, how fun would it be to prance in the waves recreating your very own Calvin Klein ad?

Oh I couldn't agree more, I LOVE TTD shoots. I recently blogged about this myself. I want to do one so bad!
I love these too but I do think people should find old dresses that aren't wanted rather than wasting perfectly good ones!
I trashed my dress before our reception! We gave each other dreamy fairy tail kisses in the waves of the water. The pictures came out so beautiful. I have a dress that I cut of the bottom and wear it again and again.
I love the adventure of it!
