Dana asked that I share some wedding paper trends with you today which is one of my favorite topics. Let's start with something that really makes me happy, as we strive to be as eco-conscious a company as possible
Our latest paper material is seed paper. We have this paper specially made for us so it has a nice soft velvety finish, and the 100% recycled paper is embedded with herb seeds! So now once you are done with the invite you can plant it and grow an herb garden! Talk about sustainable!
The next trend I am really loving lately is "blind letterpress". For those of you not familiar, letterpress is a hand done printing process using an antique press. The above look is achieved by pressing into the paper without any ink. It creates a beautiful texture and a great way to showcase a subtle pattern.
These custom envelope liners are so fun they literally make me happy just looking at them! They allow you a chance to add another dimension to your invitations by embellishing the envelope, and because these are custom printed you can customize them with your colors, fonts or even custom monogram! This is a great example of an age old tradition gone modern!
Lastly is one of my favorite new tricks, custom printed backers. Backers are an extra layer of paper adding dimension and beauty to the invite. These have been around for a while now, but this new technique of printing them adds another bit of customization and makes the invite that much more special! I especially adore the top design which is printed both sides for a true custom feel!
