I highly encourage the use of a DOC. They're like the stage manager to your play: you need someone running the show, if you're going to star in it. The same goes for your wedding! Thanks for the post! I was told that coordination in L.A. couldn't be procured for less than $1,000, but I'm happy to hear there are other options! Great resource.

I did not hire a DOC and to this day it is one of my biggest regrets. Well, that and I did not hire a videographer (gasp...i know...i actually thought my pics would be enough...was also on a budget) Although our wedding day went very smoothly and everything happened as planned, my poor mom was running around the whole day making sure everything was just perfect for us. She did not even get to get ready with me since she had to be at the venue to make sure everything was in order. We also had great vendors who helped coordinate but I WISH I would have known about Tiffany then! What a great offer!
